Membership / Joining Procedure:
Prospective members can apply for membership at a monthly Club meeting. The following procedures apply:
Hand in completed application form with prescribed fees to the treasurer. An applicant that was a member of any other Club practicing dirt karting during the current season must hand in a confirmation in writing from the Committee of such Club as proof of resignation from the said Club. The Committee will consider all applications of driver members only after the request has been approved by the drivers in the specific class. In all cases where membership is granted, the following conditions will apply:
- Membership during the first year is on probation.
- Membership of a club promoting oval dirt karting is restricted. No one is allowed to be a member of two or more clubs simultaneaously.
- Members moving between clubs will not be allowed to participate in the first event after joining.
Buying your first kart:
There are some important things to consider when purchasing a used kart. Take your time and consider how much you are willing to spend on a used kart. - Do I get a set of tires with the kart.
- What accessories are included with my new go kart (gas line, throttle cable, etc.).
